Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025

Flight Lieutenant Nadia Pierre is an ICT Officer with 15+ years of experience in education and technology. In her current role, she modernizes the Air Guard’s ICT infrastructure, ensures cybersecurity resilience, and drives digital transformation initiatives. She has delivered cybersecurity training at the Defence Force Military Academy and developed awareness programs to foster a culture of cyber vigilance.

Previously, she excelled as an ICT educator, empowering students and training teachers in digital integration strategies. She also volunteered with the Military-Led Academic Training Programme (MILAT), tutoring students for CSEC IT exams.

Nadia holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a Master’s in Education (Youth Guidance). She recently participated in the Integrating Women, Peace, and Security in Defence course in Mexico, where she presented on ICT’s role in advancing these initiatives.

Jaevon C. George is a Digital Forensic Examiner and Cyber Investigator with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS). With over 20 years of experience in forensics, investigations, intelligence, and ICT, he holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology (Networking & Security) and certifications including CISSP, CC, and Security+. Jaevon combines technical expertise with law enforcement experience to lead cybercrime awareness initiatives, training law enforcement, educators, students, and financial professionals to strengthen cybersecurity resilience.

Noellynton Serapio is a senior cybersecurity professional at iGovTT, specializing in securing information systems and overseeing cybersecurity operations. With a strong background in security protocols and threat detection, he focuses on strengthening iGovTT’s cybersecurity framework through the development and implementation of effective security policies and solutions. Known for his strategic mindset and commitment to staying ahead of emerging threats.

Jason Andrew is a Cyber Analyst at the Regional Intelligence Fusion Center (RIFC), Caribbean Community Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (CARICOM IMPACS). He has over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT) with 15 years in Cybersecurity specializing in Defensive Security and OPSEC.

Jason has served over 23 years in the military where he held roles to include Chief Radio Supervisor, IT Committee (Mil), and Lead Support Technician, Chief Operations Center Supervisor, and Public Affairs Manager. He holds numerous training diplomas and certifications from regional and international institutions, across Military and Civil Operations, Law Enforcement, IT and Cybersecurity fields including Incident Handler (CIH), Ethical Hacker (CEH), Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Counterdrug Intelligence, Cyber Forensics, Intelligence-led Policing. He is also currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with Monroe University in Cybersecurity and Information Systems.

Jason is an avid video gamer but away from digital life he is also a poet and writer, entrepreneur, beach lover, and travel enthusiast. He has an enduring passion for volleyball, and Leadership/Life Coaching and Mentorship.

Jonathan James is a highly accomplished and solution-driven System Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Having graduated from University of the West Indies with a degree in Information Technology, Jonathan has honed his expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex technological systems.

Jonathan is adept at conducting system evaluations and producing technical solutions that improve efficiency and performance. With his exceptional skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting software issues, he has a proven track record in managing large scale projects, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has shown his proficiency in various operating systems and system security. His excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with his ability to adapt to new technologies and tools, have made him a valuable asset in his previous roles prior to joining Cisco.

Anish Bachu is a cybersecurity leader with six years of experience safeguarding Trinidad and Tobago’s digital infrastructure. As the head of TT-CSIRT, he spearheads national cyber incident management, threat monitoring, and critical infrastructure assessments while fostering a skilled cybersecurity workforce through training and awareness initiatives.

Anish has played a pivotal role in key national projects, including the 2021/2022 National Cyber Risk Assessment and contributes to regional cybersecurity efforts as a member of the CARICOM Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Action Plan (CCSCAP) Steering Committee, the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Counter-Terrorism, and the Commonwealth Caribbean Cyber Fellowship.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security Systems and an MBA in Information Systems and Decision Science from St. John’s University, New York. Anish also serves on the university’s Cyber Security Industry Advisory Board, mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Devanand Ramsingh is an IT professional with 20 years of experience in sales, solutions support, and digital transformation. As Fortinet’s Major Accounts Manager since 2022, Devanand drives government cybersecurity strategy, adoption and upskilling, focusing on technology-driven solutions for safer digital ecosystems.

Previously, Devanand spent 10 years at Microsoft as a Territory Manager, specializing in public sector and education across the Caribbean. He earned a Global Best Practice Recognition Award for pioneering Microsoft’s City Next Model as a blueprint for Antigua and Barbuda’s digital transformation.

Earlier in his career, Devanand contributed 10 years to National Petroleum Trinidad and Tobago, leading IT, and finance initiatives, including the Pay at the Pump project - a credit card integration solution that optimized the national fuel retail network.

A skilled negotiator, Devanand excels in selling and implementing solutions across corporate and public sectors. He holds a Master’s from Anglia Ruskin University, a BSc in Computing (Hons), a Graduate Diploma in Management Information Systems, and an Associate’s in Data Processing. He is also a member of the Institute of Managers of Information Systems (London) and the Smart Cities Council.

Shiva Parasram is the founder of the Computer Forensics and Security Institute (CFSI), established in 2011, where he serves as a Senior Penetration Tester, Digital Forensics Investigator, Cybersecurity Lecturer and Enterprise Risk. With over 2 decades experience in the field and a focus on enterprise cybersecurity solutions, Shiva has worked with organizations in the Public, Energy, Technology, and Financial sectors, throughout the Caribbean and Canada, conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and enterprise risk management.

A published author of four books on Penetration Testing and Digital Forensics for Packt Publishing, Shiva contributes to the education of cybersecurity professionals globally. He is also a recognized expert in the Caribbean for Dark Web research, data leaks and ransomware attacks, producing a notable CARICOM and Caribbean Annual Ransomware reports.

With 20 years of experience, Shiva holds an MSc in Network Security and over 20 industry relevant cybersecurity certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO). As the only instructor in the Caribbean for the CEH and CCISO courses, he is dedicated to mentoring future cybersecurity professionals and advancing information security education through the CFSI CyberFence Project which deliver free training and workshops to the public which has benefitted thousands globally since inception in 2021.
