UNDP – Artificial Intelligence Landscape Assessment (AILA)
The Artificial Intelligence Landscape Assessment (AILA) is a UNDP-supported framework that helps countries understand how AI is currently being used across sectors, identify gaps and opportunities, and assess institutional readiness for AI adoption.
It provides a practical, diagnostic view of the national AI ecosystem to inform strategy, investment and capacity-building efforts.

UNESCO – AI Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM)
The AI Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) is a UNESCO-developed framework that evaluates a country’s preparedness for the ethical, safe and inclusive deployment of artificial intelligence.
RAM examines legal and regulatory frameworks, data and infrastructure, skills and capacity, and societal and ethical considerations to support responsible AI governance.
