MPAAI's Inaugural Town Hall Event 2026

The Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence (MPAAI) marked a significant milestone on Tuesday, March 31st 2026, hosting its first Town Hall meeting at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain. The event brought together staff from across the Ministry for a shared introduction to its new identity, direction and purpose.

Notice of Ministry Name Change

As of 23rd May, 2025, the Ministry of Public Administration and the Ministry of Digital Transformation have merged to form the Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence (MPAAI). This change is officially documented in Gazette #81.

The Minister of MPAAI is Senator The Honourable Dominic Smith.
