T&T Invests in Digital Innovators

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is set to share a week of groundbreaking innovation featuring 14 of Trinidad and Tobago’s most dynamic software developer teams who will pitch their digital solutions and vie for 5 awards of TTD$350,000 each. This exciting competition will air on consecutive nights from Monday 22nd with a Grand Finale on Saturday 27th April on TTT Limited.

This Developers Hub (D’Hub) Challenge TV Series showcases Trinidad and Tobago’s top software developers pitching their cutting-edge digital solutions to a panel of industry-expert judges. The solutions being presented will transform how key government services operate, namely the Ministry of Finance – Customs and Excise Division, the Ministry of National Security – Immigration Division, the Ministry of Health, TTPOST, and the Environmental Management Authority.

The D’Hub Challenge is an opportunity for local software developers registered on the D’Hub platform to harness their talents and address critical public sector, private sector, social, economic, and environmental needs in Trinidad and Tobago. In anticipation of the series, Ministry officials expressed excitement about witnessing the personal journeys of developers who are helping transform our digital future. Devindra Ramnarine, Digital Transformation Advisor said, “This is an initiative that will stimulate our digital economy. We’re hoping that this will contribute to alternative sources of foreign exchange for the country.”

Tune in nightly to TTT Live Online from Monday, April 22nd to Friday, April 26th at 7:30 pm AST (Atlantic Standard Time), with a grand finale airing live on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 5:00 pm. Notice of Ministry Name Change

As of 23rd May, 2025, the Ministry of Public Administration and the Ministry of Digital Transformation have merged to form the Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence (MPAAI). This change is officially documented in Gazette #81.

The Minister of MPAAI is Senator The Honourable Dominic Smith.
