Senator the Honourable Dominic Smith, Minister of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence, met with Mr Julian Belgrave, IDB Country Representative, and his team on Tuesday, 9th September 2025, at the Ministry’s Tower C Office.
The meeting centred on advancing Trinidad and Tobago’s digital transformation agenda, with discussions on the IDB’s potential support in key areas such as digital innovation, skills development for public officers, and the integration of artificial intelligence across sectors. The engagement reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to positioning Trinidad and Tobago as a regional digital hub.
